There is currently no legislation mandating NHS staff have to take part in clinical trials to remain in employment.
There is no obligation to reveal your ‘vaccination’ status to your line managers, do not discuss this with anyone in your workplace.
We also inform employees that there is no such thing as an informal meeting when the company are trying to find out personal medical information which may be used against them in future meetings, and which the employee has no obligation to disclose. Also all requests to discuss vaccination status must be put in writing and NHS staff should have a trade union representative accompany them.
If you are approached by anyone regarding your vaccination status, then please tell them to put their questions in writing to you, then you can seek our advice.
Please get in touch with us if you your company decide they want a meeting with you.
